With a density of 2050 vines per acre, the vineyards for Prince de Tabourg rouge are harvested and then vinified in the traditional manner over two weeks in temperature controlled vats. Pumping over occurs twice a day to help extraction before the wine is aged 12 months in oak barrels.

The wine is a beautiful red cherry color and expressive nose with notes of red fruits, licorice and acacia. Well balanced and supple on the palate. The finish is silky and full, with nicely structured tannins. Prince de Tabourg rouge pairs well with red meats and stews and is also an ideal match with buttery, soft cheeses like brie and camembert.
